Come and enjoy the freedom and expression of guitar!
Students will be taught individually and learn at their own speed and will also have the opportunity to play with others if they choose in small groups. Lessons will stress the fun and excitement this instrument can provide with emphasis on learning real songs and performing in front of an audience. We will also teach students how to read guitar tablature, the guitar players language for reading and witting out music. (There will not be a large emphasis placed on musical theory.)

Students will have the opportunity to learn songs from all guitar based music styles such as Blues, Rock, Country, Folk, Hard Rock and also any material they choose to learn themselves. Classes will be held at the Journey Through The Arts Third Floor Studio at 27 Walton St., Port Hope. Students must have their own guitars! For more information contact Mike Woods at 905-885-0908.
