One program · three art forms

Not three separate classes. One integrated week of making.

Drama

Write a play, build the set and costumes, perform it Friday.

Music

Learn an instrument and write original songs to play live.

Visual Art

Printmaking, pottery, jewelry and painting - displayed at week's end.

Friday!

Every week ends with a live performance & art show - the play, the music and the art the kids made all week, in front of family.

Meet the team

Three artists, one studio

The same trio leads camp each summer - kids get to know them across the week.

Visual Art

Christine Benson

Founder of JTtA and an OCAD graduate who has exhibited across Ontario. She teaches from her 1840s log-cabin studio in Port Hope.

Mike Woods

Port Hope musician with JTtA since 2003, running Log Jam Music with Christine. He brings 20+ years of performing and teaching to the camp's music sessions.

Trent University graduate and local elementary teacher, returning for another summer leading the campers' drama and performance work.
