Instructors:
Christine Benson (Art): Christine received her BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design and is the co-founder of JTTA. She spends her time at the JTTA Studios teaching art workshops to kids, adults and teens and travels to local elementary schools for JTTA’s In-The-Schools Program. Along with Mike Woods she is the co-founder and curator of The Journey Through the Arts Gallery in downtown Port Hope. When she isn’t teaching Christine loves to be a printmaker and exhibit her work across Ontario.
Mike Woods (Music): Mike is an independent musician based in Port Hope and has played in various musical groups over the past fifteen years. An avid musician since a young age, Mike also extends his musical talents teaching private guitar lessons at the JTTA Studios. Mike can currently be seen performing with local bands Barefoot Soul and Garage Dog. Mike is also the owner/operator of the Northumberland Rock and Roll Museum.
Sarah Foord (Drama): Having worked in film, television and theatre in Toronto, Sarah is thrilled to be back at JTTA for a fifth year. A Bachelor of Education graduate from Trent University, Sarah has just finished her second year teaching in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
