Instructors:
Christine Benson (Art): Christine received her BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design and is the co-founder of JTTA. She spends her time at the JTTA Studios teaching art workshops to kids, adults and teens. Along with Mike Woods she is the co-founder and curator of The Journey Through the Arts Gallery in downtown Port Hope that represents the work of 14 Northumberland County artists. When she isn’t teaching Christine loves to be a printmaker and exhibit her work across Ontario.
Mike Woods (Music): Mike is an independent musician based in Port Hope and has played in various musical groups over the past ten years. An avid musician since a young age, Mike also extends his musical talents teaching private guitar lessons at the JTTA Studios. Mike is also an accomplished photographer.
Sarah Foord (Drama): Having worked in film, television and theatre for the past 5 years in Toronto, Sarah is thrilled to be back at JTTA for a second year. She looks forward to putting her acting training from York University and her teaching credentials from Trent University into practice in her own community.
